Féis Cape Breton is a program administered by the Celtic Music Interpretive Centre in an effort to reignite the passion and revitalize interest and participation in traditional Gaelic music and culture. The Féis aims to help youth (and other interested age groups) develop skills in a natural way, encourages self-directed learning, provides opportunities for playing and performance and to connect with community at cultural events through a diverse program of shared activities across Cape Island, and beyond, ensuring our culture remains a vibrant and living tradition for generations to come.

* 2017 Program has ended. Stay tuned for information on the 2018 program *

In an effort to build a database of music, dance and Gaelic instructors across Nova Scotia, we are asking all instructors and cultural organizations to fill in our quick online questionnaire to ascertain who is teaching what, where and when. This information will be used to connect interested students with instructors and organizations who are presently, or are willing, to offer instruction in music, dance and/or Gaelic language. In the near future, we will also be creating a website which can be used by the public to connect with instructors and organizations offering cultural educational opportunities.

Even if you don't currently offer instruction...
we would still appreciate you filling in the form so that we can record your reply. Thank you!
